Kick clips are short highlights cut from a live broadcast, in the same spirit as Twitch's. The platform is younger, and the practical consequence is that its clip URLs have changed format more than once — so the single most common reason a Kick download fails is a link copied from an older layout that no longer resolves.

Play the clip on its own page rather than copying it from a channel listing or a feed thumbnail.

Copy the current URL
Take the address straight from the bar while the clip is playing. It should contain the channel name followed by a clip identifier.

Clips are short, so files are small. If the link is rejected, reopen the clip on Kick and copy a fresh URL — old-format links are the usual culprit.
